This year’s Spartanburg County Open Studios event was a resounding success. As people entered the studio, I had the opportunity to meet many individuals. I believe everyone enjoyed exploring different studios and interacting with the artists.
Two of my pieces, both story poles, sold. Celtic 1 and Celtic 2 showcased ancient Ogham script carvings and were sold to different people on different nights.
It was also a pleasure to have my photographs displayed for the first time and engage in conversations about the topics and techniques involved in my work.
The next event is the Collective’s “For the Birds” show, which is currently running through May. I’ll be transitioning my studio photo exhibit to feature all bird images. I’ll provide more details on that in the future.
